April’s champions in the Fortebet Real Stars Sports Monthly awards have been revealed by the organizing committee. A diverse array of talents from football, boxing, and rugby were celebrated during a ceremony held at Jude Color Solutions’ offices in Kampala.
Claiming the top spot in football is none other than KCCA FC’s sharpshooter, Muhammad Shaban. With an impressive tally of four league goals and an assist in April, Shaban outshone competitors like Paul Mucureezi from Kitara FC and Sharon Namatovu to secure the coveted title.
On the rugby field, Michael Wokorach of Heathens emerged as the standout performer. Wokorach’s stellar contributions, particularly in key matches where he was named man of the match, edged out rivals Emily Lekuru and Yasin Wasswa for the honor.
In the boxing ring, Farahat Manirola’s knockout victory over Gael Assuman from the Democratic Republic of Congo propelled him to victory against tough opponents Henry Kasujja and Harold Mukuye.
The winners were duly rewarded with commemorative plaques and cash prizes, thanks to the generous support of main sponsors Fortebet and Jude Color Solutions.
